SUNDAY WISDOM

Melancholy is sadness that has taken on lightness.
–Italo Calvino

I was trying to find a little something to describe how I feel right now.

Trying riding a horse when you are older, that makes you melancholy and you have to make lightness out of it. “Maybe you need a step ladder?” “This horse is really high!” “Get closer to the goose neck trailer.”
now I have to get down………..

When I was younger, I just got on, as easier as a grasshopper hopping……….

    Sorry you’re melancholic.

    I’m just plain old depressed.

I just saw the new Will Smith movie. You guys need to do a twin brother movie. You guys look so much alike and seem to be sort of on the same wave length.

    sadness

your sadness is in my heart
no need I know your reasons
reasons are like circles that come and go
    and come and go again
does not the rain wash all the leaves
and all the leaves breathe air
air that you have breathed before
and I breathe now and feel
    your sadness
