Regard it as just as desirable to build a chicken house as to build a cathedral.

I’ve heard you express that same sentiment about film making CRC. This is an extremely important point. Great artists pour their heart into their work no matter what the budget.
Frank Lloyd Wright is right; One feeds the belly and the other feeds the soul. The chicken is the most popular bird alive because we all love to eat it except for the Vegans….
And Michael kept saying Grandpa lets me do this and that because he was the “The Boy!” Are you sure we are talking about the “Same Man.” My grandfather had a set of rules that you didn’t break, I don’t care who you are……..
Well, if someone would have built me a chicken house, then probably my poor rooster would not have been eaten by the nutter doberman my parents once had. A true shame.

As I builder - yup, I wore many hats, and - I took every project to heart. I also played a major role in the construction of many super structures;
Built some magnificent dog houses. Alive or dead, no soul can, never, ever, take that away from me. I am very proud!!!!
Thanks for sharing Mr. Wright’s wisdom.

Than watching Michael fly when Grandpa found out. It was a very old adobe hen house which was cool in the summer time.

Anna, I had no idea that chickens can live up to 12 years. This is very interesting.

Nice quote. Thanks. I constantly need this particular reminder.
Chickens can live for 12 years? Really? Remember the story about the headless chicken that CRC put on here a while back?
How long can a Turkey live? They’re very emotional.

It is not about the thing, but all about the process.

My favorite architect of all times. Man is a genius, and his Falling Water is a true masterpiece.
