A CRC CONFESSION

A bit rough and inarticulate, but sincere.

  1. Dan Says:

Christopher Coppola founder of PAH Nation.
It has a nice sound to it.

Thanks for sharing that with us Christopher.

  2. Anna Says:

Actually it was very articulate and not rough at all. Wealth comes in many forms, knowing people care about you just for being you or that stranger who says, “Thanks, I needed to meet someone like you.” can mean a lot………

  3. Doug Says:

I agree with both Dan and Anna’s comments. Christopher Coppola founder of PAH Nation. I feel truth and love in every word. You dear souls touch me more that you know. Back in the day, a Devine wind blew me towards “Internet Way.” To make a long story short. I heard a tone so true, it sounded like music to my ears. I still feel the same as I did then. Why I thank God for creating such a man. While I do have much respect for his family and name… it wasn’t his name that touched me, it was his heart. CRC shared his pain and not his fame; that rang true, it sounded like music to my ears.

Please make no mistake, because I believe you are all special, just it is true what Anna states: I needed to meet someone like you.

  4. Anna Says:

And Dolores didn’t know who you were. “I don’t know about the other one.” “What other one?” “You know the other one!” “This one is okay but I don’t know about the other one.” “What are you talking about?”

I had to slowly process the whole conversation and it was during lunch with Nick sitting there.

“Don’t you know who he is?” “Well, yea.” Dolores never wants to appear like she just doesn’t know something. “His last name is Coppola.” “HUH” “You know like the movie, The Godfather.” “Coppola?”

This conversation is going no where…………

She thought you were some biker guy……………

  5. Monkey Says:

    Hey you guys.

Anybody hear from the Barn? Am I worrying just because I’m crazy?

  6. Doug Says:

Hi Monkey. I’m looking forward to Barn’s return.

    Peace out,

    Doug

  7. The Barn Says:

    And POOF! There he is.
Hi Monkey, & Dugsy. Good to be home. I’ll post my experience on my blog when I digest all of it.

    Christopher,
Wish you could have kept fire for me there. Concerning this posting? I think your a pretty cool dude, and if friendship can be measured in terms of a scale, you’d be in the top 10, whilst my Brodda would be hangin 10 with me on that wave next to him. Anna would rank right up there in that top notch as well. And my dearest Monkey? Yup! Right in there too. Funny thing about it is this. You are all the ten. No comparison as far as whos the best friend. You all are.

I will share this about Hamblec’a. I want all of you to live your lives in the ceremonial way it should be. Life is a ceremony, and if we do not participate in the ceremony, then we are just spectating. Life is not a spectators sport. It’s full contact all the way, and as long as we play the game nobody looses. It’s when you quit playing, that the game is lost. No. Not lost. Forfieted. Why do I say that? Because after our bodies die, we continue at the speed of light, and the next phase of the game is played. So conduct your ceremonies in a way that your higher power approves of. After all, HE made you. It’s his game.
    Mitakuye Oyasin,

  8. Monkey Says:

Hey Barn! Glad you’re back. Thanks for the wisdom.

CRC, I can’t download what you said. My computer’s going to get reloaded next week so I can break it all over again.

  9. CRC Says:

Barn, I look forward to your scene being in Reel 4 of NEM. Is there anything else Damian needs to do for you.

Monkey, do you still live in the Bay Area? PAH-FEST:Bay Area is coming to town in August.

  10. The Barn Says:

Hi Monkey! Glad to be back.

I don’t think so CRC. Mucho thanks to Chachi for the assist.
    Mitakuye Oyasin!

  11. Monkey Says:

Yeah! PAH-Fest. Yippee! Maybe I’ll have a decent Cell Phone by then. I thought up a never-ending movie bit but forgot it already. It’s sort of fun to think up situations for BikerChef and -Cat. It would be fun to see you and Adrienne.

  12. Monkey Says:

Hi again Barn. I was starting to worry about you, not too much because I know you’re resourceful, but I thought what if he just passes out from not eating and a vulture shows up?

  13. Dan Says:

    Welcome back Barn

  14. CRC Says:

Monkey, you must do a NEM scene. That is an order. Same with you Anna.

  15. LaZ Says:

Honesty like that is a beautiful thing. It reminds me of my humanity and my connection with others.

    As for the details…my 2 cents…someone makes a movie…big woop…someone acted in a movie…oh wow…

I mean c’mon America…Let’s get our priorities straight. Someone concerning themselves with educating and empowering people to engage their self expression. Now THAT’s a big deal. ‘nough said.

  16. Catherine Says:

Common good and greater goods are great, wealth and recognition are what they are and have pros and cons, and I don’t think there is a moral wrong inherent in thinking of those kinds of things to inspire and motivate (although character shows itself clearly in one’s handling of those things - gained or not at whatever level). But work for the sake of the work, the education and other riches gained in the very process of committing that work, doing it, the actions of it, that is at the soul of one’s career. Work is purposeful and meaningful and gainful in and of itself.

And then, as the saying goes, anything worth doing is worth doing well, so when you work, aspire toward excellence both in the doing of it and the result. Keep an eye on both, they inform each other and this will grow your mind.

I think if you believe this stuff, CRC, live like this without letting false gods before thee, as it were, you’ll have a much easier time. I’m glad it’s easier now than it has historically been for you.

  17. Catherine Says:

…And I suppose I should add (because I’m thinking about the word ’selfish’ now), that work for its own sake is not selfish. Not working, that is selfish. Furthermore, goods both common and greater may be served as best as possible if you do the best job at your work as you can, regardless of whatever carrots you’re dangling before yourself (or not) while you’re doing it.

  18. crc Says:

It can no longer be work for works sake and doing it well anymore. It now has to be the amount of good one’s work does for others, not just yourself. Greed is way too wide spread.

  19. Catherine Says:

I understand that, but greed, such an awful thing, has no inherent relation to my idea at all.
